Our Vision
Grove
Grove is a vibrant series of events built on the values of nurturing community, inclusivity, and diversity. It brings together eclectic musical groups for life-enhancing gatherings of joyful music, seed planting, and the creative sharing of community voices.
After a sold-out first event celebrating seed sowing, the second Grove featured community garden planting alongside musical performances by Dovetail Orchestra, parent-and-baby BYOB Choir, and the epic MMILK (Mothers in Music Improv Group), OAK Choir, and intergenerational Beehive Singing Circle.
Participants also enjoyed a pop-up Syrian restaurant, a clothes swap with in-house tailoring, a photography exhibition, and workshops from The Beehive Singing Circle, creating a rich tapestry of creativity and connection.
Upcoming Grove events will creatively capture community voices and feature performances and from our beloved groups inviting collaboration and reciprocal exchange.
Expect magical moments, unfolding collaborations, and full audience participation — everyone is welcome.
Tickets: Secure your place through HEADFIRST. Free tickets are available for asylum seekers, carers, and children under 12. The event is fully wheelchair accessible.
Grove is part of the Lightime Music gig series, in collaboration with the Mothers in Music network and St George’s, Bristol, lovingly held by musician and community curator Rachael Dadd.

We capture Bristol's diverse range of values, cultures and under represented voices through artistic and collaborative art, photography and audio recordings, showcasing a platform for social sharing and equality.
Like seed planting, singing and shared food, it is a way of bringing people together through acts of reciprocity, care and mutual support. It offers a simple invitation: bring what you no longer need, take what you do, and trust the collective to hold balance.
Food supports the rhythm of a Grove event. Sharing culture through signature dishes and ancestral recipes nourishes and creates natural pauses between singing, seed planting, conversation and creative exchange.
